The amplifier features a remarkable 96 kHz/32-bit digital signal processing with delay, 8-band parametric EQ, crossovers, FIR processing, LevelMAX limiting, and more. The integrated DriveCore technology incorporates hundreds of amplifier components into a single chip for superior efficiency and reliability. With its updated design, the LA4-D allows for high power output at 2 ohms, enabling up to four surround speakers to be powered by a single channel. There are built-in cinema speaker tuning presets that match all JBL cinema loudspeakers for optimal performance, protection, and easy deployment.
The font panel features an LCD and encoder to configure amplifier settings and mute channels at the touch of a button. The rear panel provides four analog inputs via two Euroblock connectors and two terminal strip speaker outputs to connect up to four speakers. A HiQnet (RJ45) port allows the amplifier to connect with HARMON Audio Architect control software over a standard TCP/IP network. A GPIO/AUX port allows you to externally recall presets, mute channels, monitor amplifier health and power the amplifier on or off.
